A Bird Isolated But Freed

One time on my way home, as I patiently waited for other tricycle riders to arrive, I spent my time observing the sky. The clouds were in cirrus form and the sun had set. I noticed these things, however, these weren't the first that caught my eyes. My gaze was first drawn to, not a flock of birds flying together, but a bird flying alone. The scene was somehow a rarity to me since I am used to seeing flock of birds flying up high, not a lone bird flying in the sky. I ended up supposing, perhaps that bird was physically disparate. Perhaps, it was nonidentical to the others, say its kind wasn't similar to others, reason why it was isolated. The bird may be isolated but in the lowest degree, it was free.
In reality, we are like birds.
Most of us belong to a particular group; maybe group of geeks or varsity players or fashion enthusiasts or what. It sometimes occurs that the group we are in doesn't have the same interest as ours. Due to some circumstances, we just woke up and see we are with them. So once in a while, we find ourselves in the midst of quandary; whether to stay with the group so we will not be forsaken even it hinders us from doing what we want or leave the group and do what makes us happy without worrying about what from anyone in the group will say. Everyone has their own perspective. What will you choose, be belong but chained? or isolated but freed?
If will be given a situation as such, I will choose the latter.
I will choose to live free. I will choose to be happy.
